Gladwyn Brown's Poetry Emporium

Have your coworkers ever looked at you askance for your writing habit? Did “The Sound of Music” mean more to you than the other kids in school? Have you ever written a sublime poem for someone so prosaic that they are an actual brick? Did they hit you with an actual brick afterwards?

Has anyone ever suggested to you that you send them your ‘very best work,’ so that they can hold it hostage for six months before explaining that ‘it needs more rainbows?’ Did you ever look at what they were actually publishing and feel mildly surprised? Did you ever feel the need to send them a box of crayons, in the hope that they would start over?

Welcome to my world.  This is my box of crayons and I am determined to learn, so hopefully this website will grow and improve.
